Sorry for the lack of new deviations lately T^T During the summer I had ALOT of free time so making origami was great. But since I started my first year of college, I don't have alot of free time anymore pooooo :(

Now! On with the origami info!
it's known simply as the octahedron and it was designed by Stephan T. Lavavej. It was made with 12 pieces of 7.5 cm X 7.5 cm origami paper. The kusudama itself is around 7-8 cm all round. The folding and assembling are both pretty straightforward.

I personally like the colors I chose this time :) Not sure if you like it but tell me what you think! :3

I also do origami commissions for those interested! :3
You can choose your own colors and kind of origami! ^^

These are super fun to make! Have you made an icosahedron? Those take 30 pieces and look even cooler than octahedrons ^-^

Yes they are! And I actually have made the 30 pieces one but I cant seem to be able to take a decent picture of it... :(

aww, that sucks. one time i made an 84 peice one when i was sick, but i never got a picture of it :( guess i'll just have to make it again some time!

Oh, this one is really nice! I love the colours as it's the primary 3. I also like the slight design of the red, the flowers! :love: I also like this origami piece too because I can see the tucks and folds easier which somehow adds more dimension!

Yay thank you! :) Very happy to hear that you like the colors XDD Yeah, I'm trying to add new colors and patterns, so i decided to try origami with patterns drawn on them. I also tried focusing on more details on the origami so i am glad you noticed that too :)
